WHAT IS A WARRANTY DEED?

A warranty deed is a legal document used in real estate transactions to transfer property ownership from one party to another. It provides the highest level of protection to the buyer because it guarantees that the seller owns the property, has the right to sell it, and has no outstanding claims or liens against it. The warranty deed also promises that the seller will defend the buyer against any future property ownership claims.
